Companies House has published its operating times over the festive period.  Companies with filing deadlines must take these changes into account when working out when to send their documents to Companies House, since no allowance will be made for late filing because of office/service closures or delay in the Christmas post.  Companies should therefore ensure that their documents are sent in plenty of time.

Companies House operating times over Christmas and New Year

In line with its policy of encouraging customers to use its electronic filing facilities, Companies House has announced that it will no longer comply with customer requests for large orders of Companies House statutory forms as of 4 December 2006.  Leading up to this date, it will only have a limited number of paper forms, and so will restrict the quantity of forms it will despatch per order. 

Customers who do not use the electronic filing methods (webfiling and software filing) will still be able to download the statutory forms from the Companies House website and order single forms via the contact centre (0870 33 33 636).
